Review: Eau Thermale Avéne Soothing Hydrating Serum

When Escentual asked on Twitter whether anybody wanted to try something for hypersenstive and allergic skin I jumped at the chance. It feels like I'm allergic to EVERYTHING, of course I'm not actually allergic to everything and count my blessings that it's not any worse but sometimes, especially when you're having 'one of those days' it sure does feel like it.

Now I don't have a bad word to say about this little beauty, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic? Fantastic, not only does it cater for my seriously sensitive skin it is also perfectly fine for acne sufferers. When I'm using something like Effaclar Duo+ or super strong prescribed products my skin is practically begging for something calming and super moisturising like this as with eczema or dry skin. It's cleared up my severe dermatitis around my eyes and forehead and I could not be happier. (Alice - if you're reading this, this is better than that awful shampoo!)

It's stopped my foundation sitting on the dry patches of my face ( EL Double Wear is not good for dry skin or eczema) and makes it glide on beautifully without a primer. Not that I bother with a primer...
I use this before I moisturise both day and night, it has started to go down quickly but no doubt it will last me a couple of months. I'd repurchase this in an instant, most definitely from escentual as their quick speedy delivery and great offers are right up my street and I've used them for years. I believe you can purchase this in most large stores of Boots but my two nearest don't stock it so I'd buy it online.
It's on offer for £14.45 from escentual at the moment!

If you go on the Avéne website you can find out your skin type and they will send you samples to suit it- worth a try!

* I was sent this to review and my review is completely unbiased.
