12012014 La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Compensating Soothing Moisturizer

This is the second tube of this moisturizer that I've bought and I'd happily buy it over and over again. I originally bought it when I was using antibiotic cream and when I was supposed to be taking antibiotics for my acne and the pharmacist suggested it. I've been told that it might be available on prescription too it's that good. It's a compensating moisturizer designed for skin that has been dried out and mistreated by products designed to get rid of blemishes.

It's good on my sensitive skin, (not eczema though as you'd expect) and makes my skin feel soft and normal. It doesn't feel tight or dried out which is a relief sometimes. Don't you hate that cardboard feeling? It gets so incredibly frustrating when nothing sorts it out. This soaks in nicely and doesn't leave an oily finish. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who needs a compensating moisturizer to go that little bit further. It's on offer at escentual.com at the moment too but I bought it full price on both occasions and the last tube lasted me 8 months with daily use.

I really want to try the body range for very dry and irritated skin next!
