I've been wanting to try out REN skincare for a year or so now but haven't quite managed to part with the cash for a cleanser. That said, I tried out a Garnier cleanser that was a couple of pounds and hated it. It was too runny and stung my skin and I guess it put me off. I saw this cleanser a couple of months ago in the Marks and Spencer's clearance section so obviously I snapped it up as it was only £7.00. I'm converted.
It's a rather lovely thick 'moisturizer' type cleanser. It doesn't have a strong smell which for me is a bonus because of my sensitive skin. It also doesn't irritate my skin - apart from my eczema which you'd expect and I really shouldn't have make up on... and after washing off it leaves my face feeling clean. As it's for dry skin it's quite heavily moisturizing. I don't find that horrible 'cardboard' tight feeling at all. I'm really impressed as I didn't think this would do anything out of the ordinary and it removes my make up gently and leaves my skin feeling happy. Another point is that I have combination skin- you name it, I have it. I suffer from mild acne from time to time, eczema, oily skin and dry skin and this product is surprisingly good for it. I thought I'd have to use the clear and calm range but this hasn't broken me out, perhaps it's true what they say about oily skin needing more moisture... Skin expects - I'm clueless any tips?
