Trip to Bristol, picture heavy!

Told you it was picture heavy!

Me and Ellen  went to Bristol two Sunday's ago, originally to go to a bloggers meet (#craftybloggersmeet) but we got lost and would have been over an hour late so we decided to cut our losses and go get cocktails. This, ladies and gentlemen (possibly! do I have any male readers?) is why she is my best friend. Cocktails! We went to pitcher and piano on the water front and sat outside. It was lovely! scorching weather and I didn't even get I'D (such a good feeling, especially when you're trying to be all grown up in a nice restaurant!) . The cocktails were lovely, I had a vanilla storm which was delicious and really strong!
It had Kraken Black Spiced Rum, Absolut Vanilia Vodka, cloudy lemonade and lemon juice. I'd really recommend it if you like vanilla. Ellen had a Kentucky Wild Berry Cocktail and it looked amazing! It had
Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whisky, raspberry liqueur, cranberry juice, lime juice, sugar syrup and raspberries. Too bitter for me but it looked amazing and Ellen loved it. We then were getting a little merry and decided we needed some food. I had chicken and chorizo and Ellen had king prawns with a mango salsa. The food was gorgeous and I'd eat it every day if I could. Good prices too, I think we had a deal, two snack dishes for around £8.00 maybe? Anyway it was good.

We also had frozen yoghurt, I made the mistake of getting something 'unusual' for me. I'm a fussy eater, although I prefer to say that I like what I like. I should of stuck to vanilla! (favourite smell, taste ever)
There was a swing band playing on the street and they were really good, they even sung the aristocats. I was won over with the first couple of beats, my favourite Disney movie. I'm a cat person if you hadn't guessed!

It was overall a lovely day, the weather was perfect, the company was lovely and it was a perfect day.
