27022013 Triangle Nails

You need:

  •  Microporus tape
  • 2 Nail Varnishes
  • Scissors
To create triangle sections on your nails it's really simple. You can either brave it if you've got a steady hand or cheat like me. I use microporus tape instead of those nail stickers that you can buy as it's cheap and easy to use. I start by cutting 10 pieces of tape big enough to section off the triangle (I reuse them per hand). Once their handy, paint your base colour onto your nails. I used O.P.I's 'Just Spotted the Lizard' and gave my nails 3 coats. Then stick the 2 pieces of tape on your nails. (You could always draw it on using a marker pen if you're using a dark colour) Next you need to paint your second colour and wait till it dries. Once dry simply peel off the tape and away you go!

I love nail art, I just don't always have time to do my nails and this is really quick and easy. You could also use it if the ends of your nail varnish is chipped and needs covering up to make it last longer!

Next time I'm going to use colours that contrast more, you could even make it look more professional with nudes! I did a cat nail art on my mum and myself the other day! check it out on my instagram!
