Purple Rinse

I've got purple hair! This is the first attempt. I used Stargazer's semi-permanent purple hair rinse. The link is from Amazon and it's cheaper than the one I bought! Mine also didn't come with a brush. I hadn't bought the rinse intentionally, I'd cleverly read the back of the box to see the instructions where it said hair dye. Apparently I'm a bit of a plonker as I found this out after I had done it! I've redone it with the  rest of the dye (only needed a tiny bit as my hair is super thin) and it's a lot darker but again not all the dye took to the blonde. It's made the top part of the ombré brassy which I don't like but it is still fun with the purple. Next time I do it I'm going to use 'La riche directions' hair dye which you can buy from here: eBay. I've used this seller before and I prefer to use it. You can also mix it with conditioner to make it lighter but I'd do a test patch!
You can see my hair before I dyed it here in this post: New ish hair
I really like coloured hair! It's super fun! I can't work out if many people have noticed either!

  1. I recently tried to go purple but it just went a reddy colour!! Love this subtle look!!
Have you seen the giveaway over on my blog? would love it if you entered! X

    1. Oooh! That's a bit strange! Maybe bleach it before hand? It's quite nice subtle isn't it, I've redone it now but I'm waiting for it to fade! I'll have a loook. Thanks for your comment! xx

  2. Ooooh the purple looks awesome!

I swear by Directions hair dye! I use midnight blue and turquoise. As I have dark hair I bleached it first then slapped on the colour

    1. Yes I want the blue one! Yeah I have a lot of bleach in my hair from at least 4 different occasions! tutut.

      Thanks for the comment! xx
